Fives RotaryPartWash Review: Specs and Uses of the Rotary Washer for Shafts
Updated: 7 days ago

The Fives RotaryPartWash cleans long cylindrical parts by spinning them under spray. The manufacturer does not publish a price. This review covers its specifications, features and uses.
Quick Verdict
Crankshafts and camshafts have oil holes and cross drillings that trap chips. RotaryPartWash holds each part on a spindle and rotates it so every hole is repeatedly sprayed and drained, at up to 17 bar with highly filtered aqueous fluid, then dries it with high-pressure air in the same chamber. A gantry crane loads one part at a time from the top, and a dual-chamber version keeps running while one side is loaded. The chamber is 150 x 150 x 600 mm, and nozzles are serviceable from outside.
