Same Sky — Company Summary
Same Sky, formerly CUI Devices, manufactures electronic components with a motion-and-control portfolio that includes AMT encoders and stepper-servo motor combinations. For automation designers, its relevance lies in compact feedback and motor components that must be integrated with a suitable drive and host control system.
Same Sky is worth evaluating when an OEM needs adaptable encoder mounting or a motor with an integrated feedback option. Its component approach can simplify mechanical packaging. An encoder-equipped stepper remains a component, however: feedback availability does not by itself provide a closed-loop controller, safety function or guaranteed machine positioning accuracy.
