Summary:
ANYbotics is a Swiss mobile robotics company focused on autonomous industrial inspection using four-legged robots. Its ANYmal robot is built to navigate stairs, rough industrial terrain and hazardous facilities while carrying sensors for thermal, acoustic, visual and gas-related inspection. The company is important because inspection is one of the most commercially mature applications for legged robots: customers can reduce human exposure, collect repeatable asset data and automate routine rounds in facilities that are difficult for wheeled robots. ANYbotics targets energy, chemicals, mining, utilities and heavy industry with a complete inspection workflow.
